Meaning modelling Annotation & Evaluation (EN/ES) Linguistics for digital systems

What I do

Language-tech for AI training, annotation, and evaluation

I work on the language layer of AI systems and datasets. My focus is on annotation and evaluation design, meaning modelling, and translating linguistic insight into structured, interpretable components for multilingual speech and text (EN/ES).

Available for AI training, annotation QA, and language evaluation (EN/ES). If you need someone to strengthen the language layer of your dataset, evaluation pipeline, or product, let’s talk .

Annotation & evaluation (EN/ES)

I design tags, guidelines, prompts, and QA checks for multilingual speech and text datasets, focused on how people interpret meaning.

Meaning modelling

I model how people express experience, emotion, and evaluation into semantic frameworks that support interpretation and analysis.

Language systems & pipelines

I translate linguistic models into taxonomies, content structures, and rule-based components that can be implemented in annotation pipelines and digital products.

Portfolio

Story

From academic linguistics to applied language technology.

I trained as a linguist in Argentina and the UK, completing a PhD in Linguistics at Lancaster University. I then spent 15 years in UK universities researching evaluation, metaphor, and how people use language to express lived experience, especially pain, emotion, and attitude.

Over time, my work shifted from analysing texts to building frameworks that could live inside tools: annotation schemes, taxonomies, and guidance that make language data more consistent, interpretable, and usable.

Today, I work at the intersection of linguistics, annotation, and NLP, translating qualitative insight into structured models that support products, research, and AI systems.
